Rollover accidents do not often occur in Germany. In Europe, however, there is great variation in the frequency and severity of this accident type due to the differences in the vehicle stock and roads in different countries. Generally speaking, serious injuries can always be expected when the occupants are thrown from the vehicle, which generally happens when people do not have their seat belts fastened.
