Urban roads

Urban roads have to meet a wide variety of requirements. On the one hand, they have to be capable of handling the required volume of motor traffic. On the other, urban roads are also used by non-motorized road users and people with limited mobility. Urban roads therefore have to allow everyone, from small children to the aged, to get around on foot or by bicycle or car.
